Buttock Lift Surgery or Butt Augmentation or / Gluteoplasty is a cosmetic plastic surgery which enhances the shape and size of the buttocks, making them perkier and firmer.
At Mayfair Advanced Aesthetic Surgery Clinic, Buttocks Augmentation surgery can be paired with Fat transfer technique to the buttocks or Buttock Implants, leading to the desired and aesthetic shape and contouring of your buttocks.
If you are unhappy with the appearance of your buttocks due to any one or all of the below reasons, then, Buttock Lift surgery is an ideal, long-lasting solution for you:
Basically, there are two types of buttock lift surgeries, Traditional Butt Lift and Brazilian Butt Lift.
In this technique of butt lift, an incision is made into your buttock so that thin layers of skin and fat are removed by the surgeon. This technique cannot be applied if you have too much fat in your buttocks. The surgeon will then tighten the underlying skin and create sutures deep in your tissues to hold the new and smooth skin in your buttocks in the new uplifted position.
1) An upper butt lift surgery – In this surgery, an incision is made across your whole contours of your buttocks by your surgeon, to have greater access to the underlying soft tissues. The surgeon then removes the excess tissues and repositions the butt for a more pleasing and attractive appearance.
2) If your buttocks have only moderate sagging, then, the excess and unwanted tissues are removed from the bottom of your buttocks, thus moving the bottom crease of your buttocks in an upward position.
3) The other type of surgery is named as “butterfly” butt lift, in this procedure, an incision is made in your buttocks, starting from the central crease, then upwards and then outward. This technique does not typically reposition or lift your buttocks, but definitely, tightens the sagging tissue.
4) In another type of technique of butt lift, a lateral incision can be made on either side of each buttock to reduce the scarring and also to reduce the mild sagginess of the buttocks.
This technique is gaining popularity as only small incisions are needed to be made in this surgery, leading to perkier buttocks. In this procedure of Brazilian butt lift, liposuction is used by your plastic surgeon to sculpt your body. Unwanted and stubborn fat from other areas of your body, such as thighs, back or abdomen is removed. The harvested fat is purified and injected into the buttocks, thus, leading to attractive and prominent buttocks. The added volume gives a lifted and younger looks to your buttocks. This technique does not remove excess and sagging skin.
Patients who have sagging and loose skin, maybe because of weight loss treatment, may have to go for a traditional butt lift surgery or lower body lift surgery.
Buttock implants are used for the enhancement of the buttocks. It is a very popular and safe cosmetic procedure. Buttocks implants are made up of highly cohesive gel silicone that is US FDA approved. These implants placed inside your buttocks by surgical procedure, thus improving the appearance of your buttocks with long-lasting effects.
We, at Mayfair Advanced Aesthetic Surgery Clinic, can boast proudly that we have an exceptional Cosmetic Surgery team headed by Dr. Pandya, who can help you realize your desires of buttocks with great, perkier and firmer looks with minimal downtime.
It is highly recommended that someone should take you home after the surgery and there should be someone who takes care of you for at least a couple of days after the surgery.
We shall provide you with a body garment that needs to be worn continuously for three to four weeks. This would assist in providing good support to the buttocks and also help with the skin re-draping, especially, if liposuction or fat grafting was performed on your buttocks.
You should also do light exercise as it will help to fasten the healing process, but strenuous exercise should be avoided completely.
Mostly, you can return to work after a couple of weeks after the surgery and resume normal and vigorous exercise in about four to six weeks depending on your surgeon’s instructions.
